At Ammiel, we provide help, support and the required assistance to people experiencing mental health crisis. Our services assist them to live independently and ensure they don't face mental illness alone.

Our support groups offer a listening ear, practical help and social support. Our services include everything from providing guidance on mental care needed to achieve recovery, supported housing, developmental group activities, education, vocational empowerment and assistance for people leaving hospital.

Our aim is to deliver a better life for people affected by mental illness. We do this by not only meeting their mental health needs but also helping them to improve their physical health, take control of their lives and establish a sense of belonging to their community. We know that if people don’t receive the right support, mental illness can destroy their lives. We recognize gaps in service provision and respond to these by developing and delivering services that provide high-quality care and support to people affected by mental illness.

Our services keep people living with mental illness safe and well in the community, it helps them to live independently, access valuable information, find the support and care they are entitled to, understand and exercise their rights.

We know that some communities are at higher risk of mental health problems due to the social, economic, and environmental circumstances they find themselves in so we work to ensure that our communities thrive and its people to live life to the full.

Finding ways to provide support in all ways possible, is at the heart of what we do. Our mental health information and guidance is based on evidence and the lived experiences of real people. Much of our work challenges these mental health inequalities by helping those at the greatest risk.
